Instructor Biography - Debbie

Babies, exercise and fresh air – 3 of my passions in life, so it was kind of inevitable that I would meet Nicola and be introduced to the joys of BuggyBootcamp.

I had the privilege of being an antenatal teacher for the NCT for 10 years, and having trained as a Personal Trainer a couple of years ago, was clear that one of my specialisms was to be in the field of exercise and the pregnant and post-natal mum. I have a huge passion and enthusiasm for encouraging women to find body confidence – in the most literal sense of the word – as they explore and understand what their body is capable of doing (and that’s after pregnancy and birth!), but in a safe and effective way. Through this, daily life can become easier and backache and tiredness far less intrusive and debilitating. Core fitness is the foundation of this, and pregnancy and labour can greatly compromise its efficiency and effectiveness.

All of this is integral to my BuggyBootcamp classes – with the added appeal of a fantastic social context! Able to offer nutritional and holistic lifestyle advice   (so relevant to the exercise component, especially when there are so many fad diets out there...), I am keen to be a part of the BuggyBootcamp ethos and urge you to give it a try. It’s hugely important to me to get the message across that any mum – any woman – can find this body confidence...it’s never too late to tone your tum, lose some fat, improve your fitness. So – buggy or no buggy -  please come and give the BuggyBootcamp experience a try. Your body will thank you for it – and you’ll have fun!

Debbie
