Prices
Postnatal service - £16.00 per hour.
Labour and Birth attendance - £550.
There is a £25 finders fee to the client if they retain the services of one of our doulas. This covers our admin costs.
A deposit is required when booking. Payments due every two weeks once the service has begun.
If the doula you chose lives more than 15 miles from your home, a fee of 40p per mile beyond that distance applies.

At Cambridgeshire Doula Services we 'mother the mother' so that she can mother her child.
Labour and Birth Attendance
This retains the services of a doula for up to two weeks before the due date, and two weeks after, and includes one antenatal and one postnatal visit.
Postnatal Service
Each mother and family is unique, so each will benefit from differing doula support. We undertake various tasks both during labour and birth and postnatally to suit your individual needs:
- Emotional support for mother and baby
- Physical care of mother and baby
- Help with establishing feeding (breast and bottle)
- Advice and help for adjusting to the new baby
- Assisting with the care of older children in the family
We also provide general assistance with the running of the household, which normally includes laundry, ironing, shopping, cooking, cleaning, pet care, and any other reasonable requests.
Other arrangements to suit individual needs can be discussed.
